Samuel Cotton-Betteridge
Managing Attorney
Samuel Cotton-Betteridge is the managing attorney at CBIG Law, which was founded on principles of creating a client-centered law firm that uses innovative tools and technology for a more efficient legal experience.
​
Mr. Cotton-Betteridge provides legal representation to investment advisers -- both exempt and registered -- and private investment funds including debt and equity real estate funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, offshore funds, cryptocurrency, and commodity funds.
​
Mr. Cotton-Betteridge advises clients on fund formation, conversion matters and general business, corporate and partnership law. In addition to his legal career, he has experience as general counsel and manager of a private equity real estate fund.

Mr. Cotton-Betteridge received his Juris Doctor from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
​
Mr. Cotton-Betteridge is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
Mr. Cotton-Betteridge is fluent in Haitian Creole.
Stephanie Cotton-Betteridge
Attorney
Stephanie Cotton-Betteridge joined CBIG Law with over five years of experience in business, real property, and insurance law.

Ms. Cotton-Betteridge is currently a title insurance underwriter and insurance claims counsel with a multi-jurisdictional title insurance company, where she provides counsel to title insurance agents.
Ms. Cotton-Betteridge is an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University where she teaches Haitian Creole to non-native speakers.

Ms. Cotton-Betteridge received her Juris Doctor from the J Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.

Ms. Cotton-Betteridge is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and Utah State Bar.
